The Tour d'Afrique Foundation supports environmentally sustainable transportation. In particular, it raises consciousness about bicycles as an alternative and beneficial means of transport. The Foundation donates bicycles to health care professionals in Africa and encourages participants in the Tour d'Afrique bicycle races and expeditions to raise funds for their favoured charities.
